GPUC was awesome. Never in my life have I ever had to ask for assistance with food, but this place is awesome. The staff was outstandingly friendly and courteous to my needs. The process was fast and bountiful. Only took me about 10-15 min from the time I arrived to walking out with what seemed to be a grocery basket full of food. As God as my witness, when I get back on my feet, I will definitely start donating food and funds if possible, so that families that are in need can receive the same help we received from them. I was very disappointed today when I went there I have a family of four in my house and the portions to feed my family was not enough for four people for 30 days no meat no can goods well four a bunch of bread and a lot of sweets we can't eat because three of us are diabetic not good. Okay as I was going to my car I see a Mexican family with a turkey and a ham and a lot of food for their families not fair I will not be back

Super nice staff, very welcoming. Food received was plentiful and varied. GPUC is such a blessing for Grand Prairie residents to have this food resource available when needed. To save time, you may download the intake sheet off their website, complete it at home and take the completed sheet with you to the reception. Must bring your id and for those within your household. I totally recommend GPUC when a bit of assistance is needed. 😁
