Nice place but the disrespect you receive from the chaplain is unnecessary. He's not there to help. He's there to judge and kick you out for no good reason. Id sleep on the streets then go back there. He needs to be removed.

DONT TALK TO ANYONE DO WHAT YOU NEED TO DO AND GET OUT OR YOU WILL BE TRAPPED… THEY DONT HELP WITH HOUSING SO LOOK AT IT AS SHELTER ONLY.. DONT EVEN TRUST THE STAFF! …. i had my fair share with those people and i thank God i got away … i left there and now im here in los angeles doing much better .. i had to come up with a escape plan to leave the center of hope bc they planted a mole in my room. and i found out that particular mole had contact with ms.patrice . i was shocked bc i liked patrice and she was always nice to me & ppl said i was one of her favs cause she saved me from getting kicked out ALOT of times lol but that still doesnt take away from the fact that she had placed me in a room with “ disciples” to monitor me . That mole tried to make my stay hell and was very jealous of people who were any ounce of attractive. This woman was so toxic she lied on me and she got mad bc i WOULDNT argue with her then apologized the next day but i still said nothing bc i only was a trap . These people are demonic narcissists and have no light in them . Ms.GWEN was the main culprit behind it all and the sad part was SHE WAS MY CHAPLAIN! she lacked empathy and she always tried to make things hard for me , even went so far as to come up to my job asking about me! ill never forget she got mad bc i got some clothes that was left on the tables from someone who moved out ( they left it behind for the next person who may needed it ). Like how are you mad bc im homeless and in need of clothes? they only provided clothes once a month and its limited… i have plenty of stories about these ppl but ill stop here.. i only came to this shelter bc i was in a desperate situation but i left with my dignity i did not feel the Lords presence there. Center of Hope? NO , More like the Center of Hell

Me and my family stayed here in 2022 it was kinda good at the beginning for 2 or 3 days but than they started technically getting very strict and the smallest thing could get u put out.coming around the beginning of 2023 this woman car caught fire my car was next to it with all most of my family’s stuff and my twins ashes they woke everyone else up but they didn’t wake me up.thankfully this kind lady woke me up and told me I rushed to the front to my car in crisp and fully covered with fire. They didn’t pay for anything they didn’t do nun abt the problem a few months later i got back on my feet got me a new cash car after a few weeks or me having it sb put sugar in my tank so I had to send the car back and get a new one a few weeks later i got a new car cuz the car company replaced it after that the same day i got it I already went to go look at my new home and it was so pretty I packed my stuff with my family and left. Ever since me and my family left our life been so good my kids is going to private school and I’m making good money so now I’m back on track. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
