Urban Ministries was able to assist me with my utility. The lady that helped me was kind, understanding and patient. She also was very encouraging with not letting myself get down about interviewing process in finding a job. It isn't as easy as it was when I was younger. Thank you Urban Ministries and many blessings!

I shop nu2you thrift frequently and donate as well. They have beautiful clothes and housewares at great prices. The ladies who work there are like family. Arlington urban ministry is a great organization that is on the front lines helping those in need. I'm honored to support this wonderful organization.

Reached out for help on July 1st. Was told that they couldn't help me till I received an eviction notice. Once I receive that, then I can come to the office and request help. The lady also told me what documents to bring to show proof that I need assistance.I am injured and I cannot drive nor walk anywhere without crutches or my wheelchair. I was never advised that j had a.time limit of when to show up for help. I my eviction notice on the 8th and got transportation on the 10th. When I arrived, I wasn't greeted by anyone, just got started at, guess cause of my race. Waited 3-5 minutes and someone finally said "how can I help you?".. I explain to the lady my situation, and show her I have my documents. She says "sorry, you should've came Monday, that was our last day to help people". So I asked her why didn't anyone say anything about there's a deadline and I have to be here a certain day to get help. She didn't know, but the offered me assistance for October! Won't be going back here, Mission of Arlington was a little more helpful than these people.
