I can't believe some people leaving reviews: 'It's the nicest shelter type facility but it is like a prison with metal detectors, curfew, drug testing and armed guards. You have to be careful because they will lock you in if you break the rule' So you want to live in a shelter and continue to do drugs & anything you want? This is a place to get you to get yourselves together. If you can't take this then you need a REAL prison. we dont want druggies on the streets.

It's the nicest shelter type facility but it is like a prison with metal detectors, curfew, drug testing and armed guards. You have to be careful because they will lock you in if you break the rules so be aware they are sticklers for the rules. Pluses they serve donuts, have church services, provide daycare, serve somewhat healthy food, smoking cigarettes is limited to certain times which can be stressful when that is the only thing to calm your nerves.

The workers need to learn how to treat people with kindness and respect. If they want to help someone, then they should do that. However, the help shouldn’t be given in a way that is patronizing.
