One of the best choices I made during my pregnancy was hiring Juanita! She's amazing. From day one she made me feel so comfortable and supported. She anticipated my needs and provided support and advise in ways I didn't even know I needed. Her vast wealth of knowledge and ability to provide guidance is beyond impressive. She is well known and respected in the Montgomery area. She has developed many connections and can provide references beyond herself for extra support like pelvic floor therapists, chiropractic care, lactation consultants and more. Working with her is a wonderful experience and truly a blessing.

As a first time mom having Juanita by my side was invaluable. She was just amazing and I can honestly say that I would not have been able to have an unmediated birth if it wasn’t for her! When I got to the hospital I was already 8cm dilated and my contractions were so strong that I was asking for an epidural even though I had planned to go unmedicated. Juanita got to the hospital maybe 15min after us and with her help, her comfort measured and especially her helping my husband support me I was able to have the birth I envisioned for myself. My husband 100% agrees that she was such a huge help for him during labor as he wasn’t quite sure what to do but was able to really support me with the help of Juanita. After birth she even helped me get my baby to latch which I really feel like kickstarted our breastfeeding journey. I’m now almost 2 weeks postpartum and baby girl has no issue with breastfeeding! And again as a first time mom during my pregnancy just knowing that if I had any concerns I could reach out to Juanita day and night really helped ease my mind! I’m not sure if we’ll have another baby but if we decide to, Juanita will be one of the first people I will text! I’m so grateful to have had her by my side during this journey but especially during birth!

I can confidently say that having Juanita’s support was beyond valuable and helped me have the pregnancy and birth I hoped for. Juanita was always available to answer my questions and calm my nerves throughout pregnancy. She provided info about my choices and helped me to feel empowered to say what I wanted for my birth. Her in-home sessions prior to birth were so informative. She went through birth, taught spinning baby techniques, labor positions, and counter pressure positions and relaxing techniques for me and for my husband to support me. Any time I had questions about something, she’d help provide resources and information so I could make an informed decision. During labor and delivery, Juanita kept me calm and focused. Having her share labor positions to try next really helped to take that pressure off of me and my husband to know what to do. She helped me stick to my birth plan by informing staff of my goals and helping me understand my options during labor and what best aligned with my plan. With her support, I was thankfully able to have the natural birth I hoped for. Without Juanita, I believe my pregnancy and birth experience would have been so different and likely not what I wanted it to be. I can’t say enough good things about Juanita and how grateful I am to have had her as a part of my pregnancy! Her love and compassion for birth and my personal birth vision was definitely felt and acknowledged. Even after birth, Juanita has been a huge help with breastfeeding tips and tricks. She’s remained so helpful during postpartum and answering questions I have. I’m so, so grateful for Juanita!
