Amanda was such an amazing asset to have through my entire labor process, beginning with prodromal labor a few days before having my baby. She was available and promptly responded to my texts and calls, asked questions, listened and then advised me based on what I reported to her. Her vast amount of experience is evident in her confidence and strength and but I never felt that she was giving too much advice. She helped me feel confident in myself through the process and comforted, knowing I could lean on her expertise if needed but not being told what to do. Excellent experience and 100% worth every penny and more!

I am so grateful to have found Amanda and for her help during my first pregnancy. She has a very calm and patient demeanor which was exactly the kind of support I needed during a new and somewhat scary experience. When contractions started, they progressed quicker than expected, and Amanda came right over and suggested we head on over to the birth center. She strapped a tens unit on my back for the hour car ride and said said the words “I believe you’ll have this baby before the morning is over,” and she was right! For a first time pregnancy, to my surprise the labor time lasted just 6 hours. Even my midwives loved working with her and said she had many great suggestions for labor support. I couldn’t have been happier with my birth team and my husband and I are so grateful to have had Amanda’s kind support.

Amanda was the doula at my birth 5 days ago. Words cannot express how grateful I am for her. She brings such a calm and supportive presence to the birth space. My goal was to have an unmedicated birth at a birth center as a first time mom and Amanda was able to help me achieve that. She was available 24/7 for any questions/concerns I had and responded right away. She labored with me at our house all day before heading to the birth center that evening and stayed the entire night helping me cope with the contractions and recommending positions to help move baby down. Before she got to our house, I was not coping well and fear was creeping in but the minute she arrived, she was there for me and gave me the pep talk I needed to see my dream birth through. I cannot recommend her enough to have on your birth team!
