Have been coming here many years and it is a beautiful church. Very helpful with the resources they have available. But little too much advertising/soliciting before serman on Sunday which threw me off a little. Still a great place

My friend and I visited this Food Bank tonight. We were pleasantly surprised by what we saw. I have something to compare it to — food banks in Chicago can be very different, and sometimes a negative experience has brought me to tears. But not this time. It was our first time at this location, and the volunteers helped us understand everything and get registered. I’ve never seen such a huge church! When you walk in, it feels like a real supermarket — you don’t feel poor while choosing food from the shelves. You feel like a normal person just doing their grocery shopping. All the volunteers were incredibly kind. Even though we were the very last ones and arrived late, not once did they treat us poorly. They stayed with us until the very end and guided us through everything. They even helped load the groceries into our trunk, and we left the food bank with a smile on our faces. Just yesterday, I had a very different experience at another food bank location in Chicago. Unfortunately, they told me several times that I couldn’t receive food because I don’t live in their area. I didn’t have a car and wasn’t planning to take much, but that experience was very painful for me. So thank you for all the work you do. The volunteers were so friendly that it even made me want to join your team — that’s how warm and welcoming it felt. I just wish I could get there without a car.

Great venue for a graduation. Pretty features for photos. Comfortable seats, great big screens so we got to see him graduate in real time- not just a spec on a stage. Sat in balcony and felt like we were right on the stage
