I’ve been coming to this YMCA for the past 5-6 years. it’s such a big space and there’s a ton of machines. The steam room and the sauna are always working. The pool is big and the Jacuzzi is nice as well. The classes here are amazing and the instructors are always very helpful.

Child watch hours are very inconvenient, especially the weekends. The family pool area is never opened, we have to literally get a section of the lap pool and stay in a corner to swim. When lightning strikes they close the inside pool for hours... the inside pool. They don't send messages out, they just let you drive all the way there for disappointment. Randomly closed today from lack of employees but you all are still charging full price monthly for our children to be on the membership though. It's ridiculous at this point... I'm giving the YMCA one last chance.

The gym is very nice! But cancelling a YMCA membership is difficult and onerous that it completely outweighs the benefits. If any other business made it as difficult to cancel as the YMCA does, they'd be widely slagged. If you never, ever find yourself in need of cancelling, Tellepsen is very good. But beware.

Great gym! I have been coming here for quite some time now. The equipment is new and functional and the location is very convenient for downtown workers. The sauna and facility are always clean and I enjoy the fact that the locker room is huge. It spans both upstairs and downstairs.

Update: I still love this YMCA aside from the hours of the Women's Center (some of us don't want to come at peak hours). I am here to comment on the cafe. This is a cafe within a gym which you think would mean healthy food options, but the quality is poor. I'm not a person who assumes all sandwiches, salads, and smoothies are healthy and these are not. I've also studied nutrition and this place is a sad feature of a beautiful health center. The quality of the turkey can be compared to bologna. Just completely unappealing. The smoothies are not all-natural. You may as well go to smoothie king and get a sugary smoothie. No different. We grabbed several items at once the other day, for the first time, and ended up throwing it all away. Please do better. Quality and ingredients matter. Started my membership here in 2017 and have kept it up, even during the onset of the pandemic. They were accommodating when they had to close for a whole, froze our memberships, then offered a discount when it was back active. They then rolled out appointments to get the location somewhat to normal, which I appreciated. They have had an emphasis on cleanliness although I think they've begun to slack a slight bit. I'm happy to know that the women's center is back open at this location, although with limited hours. Of the other YMCA locations that I've been to (a handful), this is my favorite location due to it's amenities. I love the indoor pool facility with the sauna and steam room. I love this area as much as the women's center. Having a small women's area allows for a bit more comfortable during workouts and it's attached to the upstairs portion of the women's locker room. Overall a clean facility and most of my interactions with the staff have been friendly. Great class selection too.
