I have been blessed to be welcomed back to Crosby UMC with open arms. After being gone for a few years, God led me back as the Director of Children and Youth Ministries. The amount of support, encouragement, leadership, and involvement by this congregation in anything kid related is almost overwhelming. Sharing their faith with the younger generation is a top priority for so many here. My family got involved with the scouting program here at CUMC and soon were "fished" by one of the church members. Now that we are members I praise God for leading us here. We have a strong pastor with great vision and wisdom. We have the most awesome, untiring staff that tends to the churches needs. And our congregation gives the most wonderful support and love to one another. My family has grown stronger from this, along with our faith in Jesus Christ, and now live to carry out the needs for his holy kingdom wherever we can. Rev. Miller has brought a new dynamic to this church with an energy and attitude that it didn't have before. Under his leadership, the church has reached out to the Crosby community in numerous new ways. I am proud to be a Kids Hope mentor, and the chair of the Family Life committee. These are just 2 of the wonderful programs that reach families whether they are members of our church or not.
