The Mission gave me an initial sense of hope, with an “arms wide open” type approach that was emotionally charging upon intake and several days in. Within a weeks time, it was painfully obvious that this place not only poses as a welcoming, family safe facility, the Christian backbone of RMMV does not mirror what it claims to value. Intentionally forcing clients to continuously question themselves in an already demoralizing setting, using manipulative tactics to cause emotional pain and suffering proved itself to be at the forefront of most of the staff’s daily agenda. Ultimately, if you’re looking to be part of a program that presents itself as a modern day salvation but proves to be the “gas-lighting” manipulators of tomorrow, RMMV is the place for you to hone your evil and mentally abuse your family, friends & peers. 4 1/2 months there nearly killed me and I say that without any fabrication.

If I could give 0 stars I would. God forbid you're pregnant and have absolutely nowhere to go, they do not care. I sat in their overnight room for hours then was told they needed a special letter from a healthcare provider before they could even take me in there. Even after I had someone send them what they needed, they nitpicked about it not being in the right format or worded the right way. This is not what Jesus would want, people being so rude to turn down a pregnant woman over slight discrepancies. Another thing too, while being questioned they said 'couch surfing or sleeping in your car doesn't count as homeless' you know it's real nice to assume what someone's going through when you have no idea. Neither of those things were the case.
