I have seen some pretty nasty things written here about remedies and just want to clear some things up most of these poor reviews are from those under the influence of addiction and are angry because they won’t follow rules, firstly I know quite a few people who have been there long term (years) with no issues, including myself after years I was sent away one day for being 10 mins late it sucked but I was ok and didn’t oversleep again I learned a lesson, they treat everyone fairly but you have to do what your expected to do being fresh at sobriety is hard and their no pajamas and being there before 9am rules seems to be a big issue for most if you can’t be responsible for your basics how can you keep yourself clean? They will help but won’t make you do anything you won’t cooperate with! This is a rehabilitation center not a place to make friends so stay clean, keep away from others and mind the rules these simple things will take you far…..

The reviews about the grant and them taking money and then throwing people out are false. I receive the grant, have for some time. I stay clean follow the facilities rules and I am treated respectfully with no issues. The issue I have is not everyone here is here because they want to be, be it mandated treatment for some legal reason etc and you have to be careful, stay away from them. It also in the end is a program for addicts and because we all get lumped together sometimes it's frustrating when you've been trying to better yourself for so long and given Noone any reason to doubt you still see you as that person you were instead of the person you have become. Until there is cause for concern it would be nice to be seen for the new me.

Remedies is not a place that genuinely cares about the well being of their patients. They have their favorites, and those are the people who have been going there forever and drastic amounts of methadone. I had a verbal altercation with another patient a few years back. When I returned on Monday for my dose, I was told I was out of the program. They didn’t ask me my side of the verbal altercation, just told me I was kicked out. They didn’t try to wean me down or anything. They just put a freshly sober addict back out on the street, left to my own devices. Cheryl should not be in a position of power there. She has a complex and will not admit when she makes a mistake. They really don’t care if you ever get actually clean. They only care about the money from the state and the cash payers. Definitely do not recommend
