A blessing from Heaven to those in need!

I have spent most of life caring and helping others. I also am a Veteran honorably discharged. Today I needed help. I met with Gabby. I got there early..she was annoyed and asked me to come back at my appt time. I did..again she appeared annoyed. This is a very young girl whom I doubt has experienced abuse and homelessness. It irritated her that I wanted to read before I signed anything. I have several allergies and there are any foods I cannot have due to a genetic blood condition. She marked through the allergies before asking about any. I asked her why..and did she not want to know? She dismissed it saying there was no need. Indeed there is and it very well could be life threatening! She told me I didn't qualify for their program but might have toiletries if I needed them. She pointed to a covered box on the floor and said I could take that. I had no idea what was in it and asked if I could look through it as I have limited space in my vehicle. She said no and again i told her I had limited space. She said their might be some toiletries. I declined and said no need if theres no where to bath. She had a smirk on her face apparently thought my situation was funny. At that point I was beside myself wasnt sure where I could go and never in my life have I felt more degraded belittled made to feel lower than a dog by anyone except for this girl. She has no empathy at all. It was apparent she didn't want to help me .she just made matters worse. Hopefully the directors will read this and will want to rectify this. I'm 65 a Retired RN and a Veteran..I never expected to go through this in my life as most people dont. But it happened. God forbid Gabby is ever in this situation. Thank you Noah Project I hope no one else is made to feel this way!
