We came down here with a crew from work to volunteer, and we were very impressed with the entire operation. It’s an amazing machine of processes and people, and we all had a great experience. So many charity organizations could learn from the Houston Foos Bank!

It felt good to volunteer our time at the @houstonfoodbank. The staff was fun, energetic and help the group get the job done right. Mike “Cuzzin Pete” started it all off with the briefing and helped everyone get pumped for the job. My son said he needs a raise. lol. Good Job Houston Food Bank Team!

Firstly I can't thank the good volunteers enough for the work they do for a great cause. Thank you! However, this food bank has some shady operations. For one, when my husband went to go volunteer for a shift, they said that they couldn't take him because he was 3 minutes late for that shift. If you truly care about letting people volunteer for a good cause, is this REALLY a good reason to turn someone away? I've also seen, what I believe, are some under the table transaction between the staff and people walking in. Can't confirm, but I know someone who can go investigate. The way this place is run is just sketchy.
