Cherokee Women's Health - Woodstock

My provider has a way of connecting in a great manner. She is also upfront and doesn’t beat around the bush. Most women OB/GYNs I have had, I did not have good rapport with, but she’s good.

Got an ultrasound for 8am (WHEN THEY OPEN) and it’s 8:32am and still not taken back. They said she’s still with someone, and I was like “but my appointment is the first one today bc yall open at 8?” And she looked nervous then quickly goes “oh um someone else was in at 7:30 actually” oh really? Does the office manager know that the ultrasound tech is taking clients outside of business hours (and causing actual business hour clients to be pushed back in appointment time) ???

I saw Kylie (?) the PA this morning for an unresolved issue that needed trouble shooting. She was very comprehensive, exhibited great clinical skills in evaluating all possible causes, even rarer ones, was very accommodating to my preferences and working with me. I’m a holistic doctor myself so do have my own mindset related to healthcare and she was very respectful and willing to meet me wherever I was at. The nurse she works with (I’m sorry I’m horrible with names) gives a sense of familiarity as if she’s already a friend the minute you walk in. These two are a great team! And on top of that, Kylie mentioned that we will evaluate all options and if we don’t success in resolving the complex issue, she will get the MDs involved to brainstorm and for further trouble shooting of possibilities. I feel I’m in great hands.
