The church is a little bigger than I would like but the teachings are biblically sound and that is most important. Everyone is kind, loving and they truly make you feel welcome.
We enjoy having the option of contemporary or traditional services. We also like that our daughters Bible study class is actually a Bible study, not just a room where kids hang out during service.
One service we had to stand out in the lobby area because our 9 mth old was having a fit. We decided to get some coffee and just hang out while our other kids were in their classes. I realized after ordering that I left my wallet at home, so I quickly told them to cancel the order. A kind man walked up out of nowhere and paid for everything. Simple acts of kindness like this go a long way and this is just one of many that we have received from the people of JFBC.
(Just a side note, it would be nice to still be able to hear the service from the lobby areas, for those people who have to step out of the service)

JFBC has been our church home for many years. I joined in 1998 as a single 20's something. My wife joined in 2007 when we married. Our two boys have since accepted Christ and were baptized in 2022. Mighty grateful Pastor Clay, his family, Bryant & Anne Wright, Mark Cottingham, and the many people who have poured into our family.

Traditional service with gorgeous choir and orchestra, plus services of contemporary worship, excellent biblical preaching, a big, yet friendly church and a wide range of outreach to local and overseas ministries blessing others across the world.

I use to worship, serve and work here. This was my first experience in the church. The experience was very troubling and horrific. It was very racist. I had to get my son out of this place because he was affected by it. God will deal with you. Delores, Art and the rest of you… my son couldn’t get out of his head how you looked at him, how you treated him, my heart sunk when I saw you with my own eyes. I wrote a college paper on how I was treated here. I received an A. It does no good when the church can’t treat its own like Christ treated the disciples regardless of what color their skin is.

Wonderful church focused on the community here in East Cobb, Greater Atlanta and all across the world. Sr. Pastor Clay Smith uses biblical foundations within his teachings. Lots of ways to get involved no matter where you are in your faith. On Sunday mornings look for someone in red shirt to help guide you to get connected. Activities for all ages but our family loves the kids Activities.
