Single moms beware. I wouldn’t wish this program on my worst enemy. I was in their housing for a year and a half. They treated me like a degenerate the entire time. The emotional abuse of staff was horrible but no mom in the program speaks up of how horrible they are treated because they are terrified of being kicked out and homeless. Every mom I have been in this program with leaves wanting nothing more to do with serenade heights. This is no Christian organization. At times they want us to treat the organization above all else like it’s our God. We are even lectured on the difference of sins of omission and commission, and threatened of how they always will find out if we sin against them. I only have one God and it’s not serenade heights!!! They constantly accuse you of lying against them and a lot of times see the worst in you. It’s a business to use moms to raise money from donors and partners for salaries. As of 2024 there are more paid staff than actual moms in the program. If you don’t heed my warning, then that’s on you. Their next step after seeing this is to make me seem like a disgruntled bitter mom to save face with partners and donors but it’s quite the contrary. All the moms feel this way, I’m just the one not afraid to speak up for the moms that will come after me so hopefully they will be treated better.

Wanted to find out what time they're open and what time they close

I’ve know people in this program and it seemed that they traded their peace of mind for whatever it was that Serenade Heights provided. Maybe they paid less on rent but had to give up personal privacy to do it. They were told to quit their job to attend Serenade Heights events. I thought the function of the program was to help people. Quitting their job seems counterintuitive. It wasn’t worth it!!
