The people there are amazing! They helped me with my son and were so kind to me even after he was born, they would check on me and my son after he was born for a while to make sure we were doing good and had all we needed for him. I would recommend going there when you need a pregnancy test or help while pregnant. Or even right after your child is born! Everyone is so kind and caring! Thank you all for all you do!

I was impressed with them when I first started going. They also had helped my friend out about 4 years ago as well and did a great job. So I'm not sure if it's under a new director, but the past two experiences I've had were absolutely awful. First of all, when I went in last week it took them 15 minutes to even come up front and great me. I could see clearly into their office and someones purse was sitting out on their table. They have a "free expires soon, help yourself" box right by the front door. So I grabbed two formulas specifically for newborns that expires a month after my baby is born. I also grabbed a small pamphlet off the table, that was a little wheel showing small milestones baby should have. When I finally got waited on, the director came up to me and the first thing she says is "Hi, what do you need?" I told her I was there to get supplies from their maternity room. She again repeated her question, then came up and grabbed the formula out of my hands and asked what I was doing with them. I explained that I was going to use them for my baby. She says, "Why are you taking these? Do you know if he will like them?" I told her I obviously didn't know because the baby wasn't born yet, and she rolled her eyes and threw them in a plastic bag and shoved the bag into my hands. For almost five minutes she acted like there wasn't a maternity room I could go into. Finally the "commercial" they have playing in the waiting room said they had a maternity room that women were allowed to go into to get whatever supplies they needed. So I repeated to her the maternity room and even pointed to the door of the maternity room. This woman got mad, and threw open the door to the maternity room and walked down the hall and I hadn't seen her the rest of the time. I picked out two pairs of maternity pants, a blanket onesie, and a boppy pillow. By the time I was done I turned around and saw two other ladies sitting in the office on their phones. So I asked them if they needed to check anything, and if there was anything I wasn't allowed to get in there, and they assured me that I could get whatever I needed. Which was exactly what I did. So I went into the birthright today with a box full of things I wanted to donate. There was a man standing there and I handed him the box, he had a huge smile on his face and said thank you repeatedly. While I was trying to explain to him what was in the box, the director comes out of nowhere and interrupts me saying "What do you need." The man immediately put the box down and hung his head. Staring at his feet. Clearly embarrassed. I explained to her that I wanted to get a different pair of maternity pants and she told me no. It has to be every two weeks. This was never explained to me before. I tried to tell her that and she said "I'm the director. They've never told you that before" and completely dismissed me. Birthright is supposed to be a place where women can go to not be judged. To not be looked down on. To not have to feel ashamed that they need help. This woman had me in tears. How she became the director of such a wonderful place I'm not sure, but it's so disappointing. This place used to be a great resource for mothers who had nothing. I can see now the birthright in wentzville is nothinf but a place of harsh judgement, and SUCH a rude woman. She should not be in charge here. It was a horrible experience with a horrible woman. I will be making sure EVERYONE knows about how this woman treated me and made me feel ASHAMED that I needed help. Despicable.
