I requested a new patient appointment for a more urgent need, and although there weren’t any openings right away, the office called me back as soon as they had a cancellation. I came in for an ear check, and the doctor didn’t rush through the appointment at all. He took the time to ask additional questions to better understand my overall health. I felt truly listened to and was treated with kindness and respect. Great first visit — I will definitely be coming back to the clinic! (Dr Paap)

I switched insurance providers in January, so my regular OB was no longer covered. I had heard great things about Bella, and called them early May. I gave them my insurance information and was told I was in-network, so I scheduled my first consultation appointment - the soonest they could get me in was about 2 months later. The day before my appointment, the front desk called and told me there was a scheduling mix-up and I'd have to wait another month. Since I had already taken off work, they were able to accommodate me and keep my appointment for the next day at a different time. No problem, things happen and they took care of it. I met with the doctor and thought she was great. She scheduled a series of 3 ultrasounds for a few weeks later. I received quote from Bella for the services, again displaying that I'm in network. Then, at 3:30 PM the night before my 7:30 AM appointment, they called to tell me there was a mix-up and I actually was NOT in network. I had to cancel my 3 ultrasound appointments at the last minute, after already taking time off of work. They also told me that I'd be billed for the initial consultation at the out-of-network rate due to the mix-up, and the bill was $900. They said they'd work with me and offer a discount, and I'd pay $160. I appreciate the discount, but even the discounted rate is 5x higher than I was expecting to pay as an in-network patient, as I had been told I was. They messed up 2/2 appointments, and didn't realize until the very last minute, after I had already incurred costs, taken off work, and rearranged my life to make the appointments. Now, I'm having to scramble and find a new doctor that actually is in network, and the soonest I can get in is 3 months from now, so they've set my healthcare back ~6 months due to their poor communication and inaccurate systems. Very disappointing experience all around.

Happy mama, happy baby! Bella is a breath of fresh air!! How comforting to find a pediatrician’s office that puts so much love and intension to caring for their patients and providing them with a calming experience. I’ve never felt so relaxed and uplifted in a doctor’s office before. The atmosphere is totally different than any other place I’ve been. Dr Anna Hamilton was so sweet and gentle with my baby. She was reassuring of questions I had and completely respected my decisions as a parent, which is so appreciated, especially with regard to immunizations. You’re so well cared for here! Thank you Bella team! 🙌🏽🙏🏽🫶🏽
