MyChoice PCC

My experience with MyChoice was years ago so I can’t say specifically now if their definition of “abortion education” has changed. If it has, I’d be overjoyed. However, I was trained as a volunteer at MyChoice. I was told when I answered the phone to respond to questions about abortion by emphasizing the other services provided as opposed to saying “We don’t offer abortions.” Once you entered the clinic, there were pictures of women and babies all over the walls- not a place where women could feel like they were in a medical environment that could give them services without judgement. I went (voluntarily) with other women involved in MyChoice to Pro-Life retreats where we were told that Planned Parenthood sells fetuses and that they don’t do ultrasounds most of the time because they don’t want women to see their “baby.” The fact that the word ‘Choice’ is in the name is appalling enough; it’s purposefully named as such to resemble a place where women can get unbiased information about abortion. Call it what it is: a Pro-Life center for women to get resources in keeping their pregnancy. Don’t deceive people into thinking there’s any other choice offered.

Such a wonderful place, they really make you feel like you’re not alone and everything will be alright. I would give them 10 stars if I could.
