Never been aloud to use the emergency warming shelter nor the showers as they advertise. 2 of the staff are great. 2 others need to spend a night or 2 living out of a tent when it’s 32 degrees and learn some humanity.

Stayed there for 2 days max. But for a place that claims to be Christian and to help all they care about is themselves the 3 employees I didn't see eye to eye with was because they feel since they work there they are better and can take your humanity and talk down to you. But when you say something back they claim you come at them aggressively while sitting in your vehicle and have other men come out and push you and try to taunt you..
Since the "owner" was nice enough to reply.
My question is we're you there? Or are you just taking the word of the people that I wouldn't allow to talk to me disrespectfully.

Complete & utter lack of compassion & humanity. They are clearly more concerned about asserting their authority over those in need than they are with actually assisting. I've never been a resident, but I have used their shower & laundry services. One of their machines malfunctioned & I was stuck there for over 3 hours waiting to complete my laundry. In the interim, I was not permitted to leave to get something to eat, even after I explained that I hadn't prepared for such a long stretch & my blood sugar was low after I'd endured a long day. I was still stuck there when dinner time rolled around & a couple of residents were kind enough to offer me some of their food, to which I gladly accepted. Come to find out, this was apparently a severe breach of some rule as I was chided & lambasted for daring to accept an offer of sustenance under Donna's command, because as she explained it, "I'm in charge & that won't be happening under my watch." Ya know, just how Jesus would've conducted things. For such an egregious violation, I was subsequently banned from the facility & sent away with soaking wet clothes under threat of having the police be involved. It was easily one of the most insane reactions I've ever witnessed. I'm supposed to know that I am not permitted to accept offers of food that would otherwise have ended up in the trash, especially when I don't live there & am completely unfamiliar with such ridiculous policies? I feel bad for the folks who do live there as the people running the show are clearly not concerned with the welfare of their fellow human.
