So, Don't go here if you're not prepared to sit out for 90 days. I was eager to job and they wouldn't let me immediately. Seems counterproductive. They want to use you for their slave labor pool in their thrift store warehouse first. Dorm setting makes it nearly impossible to sleep. I've slept better under a bridge. Program members complain constantly about what's free. My requests for dealing with a situation went ignored. Then I was made out to be the bad guy when it came to a head. I left this program voluntarily. Not a place for people that don't believe in God, or otherwise can't handle the bible. Rules aren't strict enough for a Christian men's home, and I've been through places that are more difficult but yet more pleasant.

They make recovery feel a little bit easier, there hands are constantly out waiting to walk this with you instead of against you. I go to bed grateful every night even on my bad days that I have a comfortable and cool place to lay and a positive support system to reach out to. Every single one of the staff works diligently in making sure all your needs are met. You come in feeling broken, defeated, sad, confused, and hopeless and you will walk out feeling like none of that ever happened. You have support in helping to make you a better person. There are no judgements, just always cheering you on. Best recovery I've ever been through❤️
ADDED BONUS: Yes, there food is good!

I was there 5 times since 2021 never did anything to get me kicked out just left on my own terms. The time before the last time i was there i left because they were forcing me to work when i was disabled and they were trying to charge me over $400 out of my ssi payment and last time i was struggling with addiction so i went to the hospital signed myself out two days later and they refused to allow me into their program and i was 3 days clean and i was honest about it said my urine would be dirty still and they turned their back on me specifically dave, he and the guy with the spiked hair called me a liar and refused to let me into the program. They call themselves christians but dont carry themselves as christians. God accepted all people and when mary fell astray and started drinking again jesus accepted her back with open arms. But now im 3 weeks clean off disabillity and have two jobs ones at kfc on murtland and ones on main st at the union grill and my bosses emily and jeff will speak highly of me and im highly motivated to change my life around, stay clean, and keep my relationship strong with god. Im not saying the city mission is bad but theres people who work there that are wolves in sheeps clothing.
