I went to the city mission food bank the white haired gentleman was really sweet & very helpful & polite he was very nice to me

Washington City Rescue Mission is the best charitable organization I have ever encountered. My co-worker was in the men's program for more than a year, battling a heroin addiction. The care, support, and follow-up he received saved his life. The Mission has a strong presence in the community and it seems that the whole city of Washington is engaged in support for those in recovery. There are many churches, NA meetings, support groups, and employers who work with the Washington City Mission to actively support those in recovery. They have an amazing network that provides continued assistance with housing and employment to help recovering addicts get back into the mainstream of life. They live what they preach and are serving the Lord in a very real way by serving those who have lost everything and restoring hope to families. The City Mission is truly worth supporting. Based on my own experience with them, I can give generously without reservation .

Great place for struggling individuals or families. They provide clothes, food ,and a place to send your mail if you don't have a address. Friendly staff and volunteers. I wish they were open every day.

Very grateful that they let us have our meetings here because they keep me alive. Thank you for letting us meet here weekly carrying a message of freedom thank you
