They don’t accept additional children only if you’re pregnant and I am both so they did not accept me and I have a one year old child

If you are someone who appreciates donating to entities that really do good in your community, and you can see the results/impact of your goods in action, then this is the place for you. I believe in impact, helping those who need it, and understand that everyone needs a little help sometimes in their lives. We all do. I happened upon Maggie's Place by word of mouth in asking about where I can donate gently used and new children's and women's clothes, toys, and hygiene products. I called them and spoke with Desire' to ask about what they can accept and what they needed. I found out that they help out women who are expecting and/or escaping bad situations. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all my questions. We, as a family, gathered up all we could. We made sure everything was clean, and labeled in bags/boxes for immediate distribution. We all went down and delivered our donations in person, and met Desire' in person. She was so excited to see that we had some new studies for the kids! Desire' saw the polar bear, and immediately knew who to give it to, as she was just asking that morning if they had any stuffies. My toddler was over the moon to know that his once loved things were going to someone who truly needed them. The establishment seemed clean, and secure. There were only a couple parking spots, but that wasn't a problem for us. Please, if you have anything to donate, consider Maggie's Place.

Seriously if you are a pregnant woman looking for help don't come here. They won't help you'll be better off Trying to rely on your family or friends then coming here I know several people who went through the program and end up still stuck in bad situations because they are not helping they only care about lining their pockets and the image that they help but they do not help please save yourself the heartache And the stress. Because when you time out after your baby turns a year you are thrown out with no plan and more than likely you will end up on the streets with a 1-year-old child please choose a different place to help you.
