Fantastic food bank for people that need it, however only being able to come once a month for what you receive is a let down especially for expired food. It would be better as a weekly or bi-weekly. Even better is when you have a guy selling his bag for beer outside and you don't confiscate it.

Their clients are not all what you might imagine. Of course they have the homeless, and mentally ill. We have retired people on a fixed income taking care of grand-babies. You meet people who got injured or lost their job who are just trying to make rent and electricity payments. Helping Hand does everything on a shoe-sting budget. If you'd like to donate, I know they always need nice, slightly worn clothing and shoes. If you're looking to get rid of other things, give them a call. I feel like they can sell or use it, they'd be much obliged.
