Unfortunately the pastor - Jeff Griffen, delivers very light (Jesus loves you) sermons, that are nothing short of theatrical, mimicking more of a desire to be an actor in movies than to truly lead people to Christ. A pastor who is not genuinely aligned with God's purpose for the church, potentially due to ulterior attention seeking motives, is leading people astray. I have been attending mainly the Hobson campus but I also have gone to Saturday & Sunday services at the Naperville South Campus & I do Bible studies the Naperville South & Bolingbrook campass because their all only 5-15 minutes from my home. I had gone to this church for quite sometime and decided to go to another Church and am Thankful that God moved me on! The Church I go to presently stands on the Word of God! On occasion an appropriate prop is used! I thought I'd fo back and visit the Compass Church ! Still ridiculous props! Jesus used examples not props! I have friends that go there and are distracted by the introductions on the screens! Is the Pastor trying out for Comedy Central?
