Pastor Scott uprooted a Christ-loving community in Hinsdale Illinois. A local community transferred property and a church into the stewardship of the Chapel after Scott promised to bring the gospel to Hinsdale. He then listed the property for sale to developers, and is lobbying the city to subdivide the church lot into single-family homes. They provided the community two weeks notice that their church was closing. Another church is trying to purchase the property but Scott is insistent on tearing down the church and maximizing his proceeds from the sale by selling to house developers. He explained to the congregation that he is liquidating the Hinsdale church to offset debt and costs from other campuses. I’d suggest caution when considering tithes to this church - it does not appear to responsibly steward your funds.

Great church with a community garden in the summer awesome members and host a Friday night shelter for the homeless.
