Love this library it’s more than just the books,the workers are kind and resources that they offer is good for one to check out

!! Notice to (seemingly & probably) all Illinois libraries: your system & regulations have lost touch with generosity & understanding. Once again another library that refused to give me a library card(not activated) even after offering money for it. Seems that library directors in this state don't even have the decency to be at the front desk to greet & deal with their patrons, and this has made them totally out of touch and elitist in an arrogant way. Shame on all of you who are privileged enough to turn down harmless requests which would cost you nothing but would mean a lot to me, even after I've traveled out of the way to visit your library.

Beautiful library with a wide selection of books, lots of space with areas for studying and reading, and they host a range of events including book clubs, interviews of authors, and workshops.
