Expensive. Anything you want to actually buy is a display and they are trying to resell carseats for infants which is illegal. Definitely Christian ran.

For this place to be help and get people back on there feet ,and it's suppose to a godly place. There real rude don't allow people to work unless it's on their schedule and time they give chores instead of staff doing it. You can't bring your own food in their unless your feeding the whole building. If this is a government funded building where is funds at. I think it's cruel the way they treat PEOPLE considering they already at there low point in life if you have to come there. So where the godly love, support, encouragement.

I can only speak from a volunteer perspective, but this is a wonderful place to volunteer. The staff are extremely friendly and you always feel good about the work you are doing. The Soth Side Mission does outstanding work for the people of Peoria and I'm glad organizations such as this exist to provide assistance to those less fortunate. If you have the opportunity to volunteer at the South Side Mission, I highly recommend it and the community thanks you!
