I am currently staying at this shelter, I'm happy to have a roof over my head, however I will say if you come into this shelter please stay focused, be willing to get out and about and do what you need to do, don't rely completely on your case manager to get things accomplished. Don't trust just anybody, staff included in certain cases. It won't be really hard to figure out who's really there because they have compassion and love their job and who's just there for a paycheck. Everybody experience is different, but best bet is to come in this place with the desire to hurry up and get out on your own. Don't allow yourself to get comfortable here.

I used their catering service, Shalom Food Services, for a company holiday party. From start to finish, Donna and her associate were friendly, professional, and efficient. Food was great and fair pricing. Highly recommend!

We donate women's and children's clothing and toiletries, they do a lot for women who need safety. They've always been very thankful for donations. Call ahead though, and be aware of the location, it's on the Hill, not the safest neighborhood.
