SASO, the Sexual Assault Services Organization, offers free and confidential 24-hour support and advocacy services for survivors of sexual violence in the Durango and Ignacio areas of Colorado. They provide culturally responsive advocacy, support groups, and prevention education. Their Project Angel Shot initiative works with local bars to create safer experiences for patrons and servers. SASO also offers a volunteer program and career opportunities for those interested in supporting their mission to end sexual violence.
