Taylor Turner rated 5 2 years ago An amazing organization that serves so many. Their local thrift stores are always a gem, and as of late, I've heard wonderful things about their donation pick-up services! |
The Gold Standard rated 5 3 years ago One of the best non-profits out there--in terms of leadership, vision, and cost efficiency. The store is run by participants in their rehab/homeless programs, and all proceeds go to the ministries they operate. Buy your thrift stuff here and you will be "Doing the most good" |
Derek Smith rated 1 3 years ago I have an assembled bed frame that I no longer have the tools to disassemble and asked this location if they could accept it in this condition. I was specifically told they do not accept disassembled bed frames. I had to schedule a pickup for two weeks later for them to collect. When they arrived, they refused the pickup because it was disassembled, despite the fact that I was told otherwise. I waited two weeks for no resolution. A complete waste of my time and effort. |
Devin Connelly rated 1 3 years ago Do NOT donate to this organization. I was supposed to donate used furniture in acceptable condition per the terms on their website. The delivery driver arrived the day of and instantly told me nothing was acceptable because they were not effectively "like-new". What the heck?
I have a delivery of actual new furniture coming in later this day that I have no room for at all thanks to Salvation Army's incompetence and false advertising.
There are tons of ways they can screen items ahead of time, but they choose to wait until the driver is literally there to accept or reject items. Also, I think it's absurd that they only take "like-new" items. Who gives furniture in that kind of condition away? |
Adrian Barraza rated 1 4 years ago I had the worst experience with John Gillie we had many great things to donate and they said they will pick them up and last minute said he will not send anyone to pick up the items. This makes me sad that people are willing to donate and help the less fortunate and help Salvation Army, but they can't even help themselves. Horrible customer service! |
