Since its founding in 1976, SACA Food Shelf has remained committed to providing basic needs services to Columbia Heights and surrounding communities. Our goal is to serve our clients with dignity and respect, in hopes of providing a pathway to stability and self sufficiency. Our mission of providing food and resources to those in need, while empowering dignity and independence to those we serve in our community. We are only as strong as the community that surrounds us and we are thankful for the support of our neighbors, our hardworking volunteers, our generous funders, and our clients who teach us about strength and perseverance on a daily basis.
