I’m so grateful for the counseling services there! Amanda has been absolutely wonderful in working on processing my past SA amongst other trauma with it.
And by all means this is no fault of anyone with the agency AT ALL but sometimes I get frustrated because I wish there was more awareness about childhood SA so people could be more aware of signs of abuse.

I had gone to this place years ago for a SA that took place and they were great! Fast forward to about 10 years later and I had some very disturbing mental and physical abuse occur. I called and got their helpline. Took a few weeks to get a phone call back. Finally got the ball rolling for an intake assessment that I waited another three weeks for only to be told day of the person that was going to do my intake had to reschedule. They never followed up, so I have given up. Sad, this used to be a good resource, I'm still seeking help / care. Not sure where to go, mental health services have really fallen into the gutter in recent years all around Pgh. Sad times for all of us.

I work in the mental health field and highly recommend PARR. Especially the advocacy program. I cannot thank Nick from PARR enough for helping and just being an amazing support for my client who was going through such a traumatic time. I , as well as my client thank you so much.
