Probably the worst lawyer I've ever talked to. Did not take time to understand the situation at all. Was condescending, rude, argumentative and doesn't understand tenant rights at all.

I applied with them 2 weeks ago to file a lawsuit against my landlord. The attorney who took my call (Tiffany Pratt) was not personable at all. She was also very condescending, kept interrupting me and talking over me. Fast forward a few days later, she asked about my financial situation and told me my application would be transferred to the Collin County division. No one from that division reached out to me, so I kept emailing Tiffany for a follow up. She never answered any of my emails. I also called several times and no one answered until last Friday. Another lady answered and basically made go through the whole application process again only to tell me that the application will be closed and «they cannot take my case ». Like seriously? Why waste my time especially since I’m dealing with a very sensitive matter with my landlord. Then Tiffany finally called back today, and with the same condescending tone said that they can’t take my case. Her own words « we have hundreds of applications coming in, we can’t possibly take everyone’s case and yours is one of them ». I even asked for a specific reason why mine was one of the ones they couldn’t take… she couldn’t answer that question. These people are just trash!

Spent two hours texting with Steven McBride, giving him a ton of personal information just for him to vanish abd ignore me like a small child. I need help divorcing a monster. I was kind, considerate and apologetic. He didnt feel the need to show me the same respect. It is unprofessional and disrespectful to just ghost a potential client. Not to mention just downright cruel considering my situation which he was well aware of. The man just vanished. I claim discrimination because he didn't like where I was from. I'm sorry people here don't like Yankees but I can't help where I was raised. I will be filing a grievance against him for discrimination based on where I come from. It's just bad form.
