Ignorance and tribalism have no place in any house of worship. I've been here multiple times and today is the second time a preacher has made lame jokes about Puerto Ricans. Bringing up anyone's nationality or heritage to make a joke isn't cool, regardless of who's making the joke and the venue. If someone made jokes about Mexicans in that church, people would be livid, and rightfully so. Treating others the way you want to be treated is a golden rule. But a lot of people seem to forget that.

LCF is a great family church! There are services for all ages, Spanish and English services, service for your kids, it’s definitely a safe place to bring your whole family. We have been attending for several years and we love our church and the community we have.

Pray that God will reveal a persons true character & intentions to you when you meet anyone here, or any other church you choose to attend. Just because someone has been attending here for years, doesn’t mean they’re good people. Just because someone is in leadership at this church or running a Bible study, doesn’t mean that they’re spiritually led in their role. Keep your eyes on God, trust God & pray. People will always let you down, but God never will. If you keep that in mind, you’ll be fine anywhere.
