I wouldn't go here if your life depended on it

This place is absolutely the worst ever. I stayed with thwn for a few months wen some bad stuff happ ned to me and my kids. Hile in ahelter the verbally abused and mentally abused me and my children. They dodnt care about anyone staying in shelter just themselves. Yes they provide food and shelter but at wat cosw must we pay for the mistreatment and discrimination in a domestic violence shelter. I had to go above and beyond staff on duty ro the head directors and yes the main lady made some changes only because everyone in shelter was dealing and feeling the same. The staff ate hateful and rude. After leaving shelter I was assigned with a rapid rehousing coordinator which was also one of head directors. She was very rude never informed me when she was coming to my property which was in the rule book never once cared never once actually tried to help me. And then I had to move to a different state to get away from another domestic violence dispute for the safety of me on my children and I let them know that I was leaving and then I get a call about 2 weeks later from my landlord saying that I'm pretty much being evicted because they kicked me out of the program mind you should never informed me I was being kicked out of the program never once contacted me to inform me of it herself. So here I am now leaving a review. Because the truth needs to be told!!!!!!!

The advocates and Director work extremely hard to provide compassionate empowering support and will move mountains to help you heal on your journey.The people that work here are a GOD sent they are true angels.The shelter itself is a clean comfortable safe environment that the staff take great pride in providing for women and children. I am deeply grateful for the transformation in my life that couldn't have happened without their help every step of the way.I will forever be grateful to these special souls that made such a difference in my healing at the most painful time in my life.
