I came to the Walter Hoving Home in 1973 and graduated in 1974 at the New York location. The staff there helped me change my life with their wonderful examples of being a Christian and reading the Bible more than one time a day was also my life changing experience. When I entered the Walter Hoving home I was a completely broken woman. I had been in and out of active addiction for about 20 something years, taking my family hostage. By the power of prayer and God's grace I stayed. The home gave me a safe place where I could work on myself. I needed to know why God was going to forgive me . As I learned about Jesus and started to have a relationship with Him. Thats where and when I started to heal. I left the home with a strong foundation and a love for our Lord. What a gift. I have never picked up a drink or drug since I left the home in 2013. All the glory goes to God. I know God is moving in the homes of Walter Hoving. I would highly recommend the home.
