Much better than the previous Christian counseling center I went to at my church. There are counselors here who have experience with intimate partner and narcissistic abuse. Mine is Diane Shillings, and she is a huge blessing! One constructive criticism is that the center looks and feels incredibly dated and sad looking, like nothing has changed since the 1980's. Please do some building renovation, provide at least a water dispenser if not coffee/tea pods in the waiting room, and update your furniture and decor! It's 2026!

Absolutely fantastic! The counselors at Houston Center for Christian Counseling are compassionate, skilled, and truly care. We have had excellent support and guidance through significant trauma and have found each therapist to be equipped and caring. Highly recommend! 5 stars.

I would recommend people stay far away from this place. I have pretty vast experience with this place as I have seen 2 different counselors over the years and my wife has seen 2 different counselors over the years. In every instance the counselor has been terrible. This is just my opinion and because of privacy, I just don't want to share the actual story, but the treatment was horrible every singe time. Also, from a Christian and theological standpoint, it is important for more conservative people to understand that this place is not for a more conservative Christian. I mean, one of the counselors was encouraging my wife to get a divorce. Just horrible. They did way way way more harm than good. Also, as I said, this is just my opinion, but if you are a man, I'm warning you now, stay far far far away. They are not your friend.
