I lived in this shelter for 6 months when I was 8 yrs old. I’m now 26 & the thought of searching this shelter just came to my head today. I will forever be grateful for the help this shelter gave my mom with my siblings when we didn’t have anything else. The reviews are bad but from my experience in 2009 was great, something I would never forget. Memories I still talk about til this day. May God bless this shelter & all the women in here today 🙏

Every time I've call they have had me on hold. They would pick the phone up and just held the phone without saying anything. Never was able to get through

I contacted them multiple times trying to get help for a loved one and never received a response. They don’t answer their phones, but they are quick to accept donations. It feels like another nonprofit more focused on money than actually helping victims of domestic abuse.
