Crystal was wonderful. Assisted me at the apt with paper work. After looking for 9 weeks she was able to find a place in 1 day. I move in in 1 week. All staff were very kind.

Cannot get ahold of anyone and No one calls or emails back, I regret putting our house up for rent with Bexar County, I do not recommend this program. I have a bad experience with tenet trying to get her out and she has been nothing but a headache. Not worth helping people out if they can't help themselves.

If I can do a zero stars I would. I have been dealing with them for 2 years, I’ve never had any bad experiences back at home in Beaumont/ Port Arthur Housing. I wish I could of stayed. Coming out here to San Antonio was the worst mistake I could have ever made. The portal process literally took 5 months. Nobody let you know when you have a new case worker, you literally find out the day you go in office that you have a new one. I have been dealing with Bexar Housing for 2 years and it’s BEEN THE WORST!! People catch attitudes and forcing you to do things so they can get everything covered on their end. They send paper work out the same following week they want you to do recertification and it supposed to be 3 months in advance. I have been through 4 different case workers. I just feel like I’m not getting the help I’m supposed to receive. They aren’t requiring any moves so you have to renew your lease wherever you are staying even if it was a life or death situation. I never leave reviews but I had to because I’m fed up with everything. U ask for a supervisor you can’t get transferred or anything, but if you get behind on payments they will be ready to terminate you from the program or have you on a payment plan.

This place is B's I had all my paper work plus my daughter has a disability and the lady in front still denied me like really this program is a waste of time they don't care about anyone but there selfish selfs smh ...

The Housing Authority of Bexar County is staffed with professional, courteous, & caring personnel. The staff make an individual feel grateful and appreciative of the help that this city, county and state provide for families in time of need. So my wife Jeanette, daughters, Jaysette and Emmybeth and I thank the staff for the hard work and service they provided for us and residents of Bexar County.
