The Reentry Center program in Bexar County is designed to help individuals who are returning from a period of incarceration, are on probation or parole, and are looking to plan their personal comeback. The program aims to increase individuals' level of employability, help them obtain higher educational levels and/or specialized job training, and connect them to a variety of services, including job assistance, educational resources, and mental and physical health resources. The mission of the Reentry Center is to improve the quality of life for justice-involved individuals and their families by utilizing evidence-based intervention strategies and community systems-of-care that will empower them to reach their full potential as productive members of their local community who no longer threaten public safety.
