Rude operator I spoke to to for the secondth time each time I called in distress and in need of help ,each time she was rude in defensive with me, I also told her an officer requested me to call haven for shelter which I explained to her but she still said she couldn't help.

DELANEY DELANEY DELANEY!!!!!!!!! I can NOT emphasize enough what a beautiful shelter and how accommodating this wonderful and well educated staff does at what they do. Delaney and every member of the team at haven is an angel walking planet earth and helped me and my five year old out of an immediate crisis within a few short hours. I can NOT stress this enough. Save yourself, save your children…who never you are, whatever your “special” needs may be…these are the kind souls who will guide you out of the fire.

I called them to get in there for counseling in August of last year. I was told there was a 2 month waiting list and that my with my situation I may not meet the criteria and she could find me some referrals saying she would get back with me and never did. As months went by I basically gave up on them. I tried to contact them again January getting a reply that I never submitted my information and there was a 2-3 month wait list. Thought that’s what I did in August so now I was being put off even longer. I have used their counseling services a few years back and they were great. But now, whomever is running the show now basically blows you off. Domestic abuse runs far more than physical, assault, sexual, financial, etc. I’ve really been needing some guidance in speaking with someone about what’s going on and I am feel like they keep putting me off and I am no longer going to bother with them.
