About This Service
EMBRACE GRACE is a support group for women with unplanned pregnancies. Through dynamic teaching and the personal testimonies of women who have walked in their shoes, this 12-week curriculum helps expecting mothers find a place of hope and belonging. The group culminates in a church-wide baby shower for the participants.

Many years ago, back when the current building had barely started construction, my family and I attended this church. We served for God, but we were there just about every day. My grandmother decorated GF’s office in the old building. Decorated for womens lunches and events at the church. For those that don’t know: back in the mid 90s a revival started in Pensacola, Florida. The Brownsville Revival. Another couple had gone and my grandparents decided to go. And then they took me. And we were on fire for God. We came back and during a service with a guest speaker, the power of God fell. All because a friend of mine in the church (we were 16 back then) confided in me about wanting to take her life. I knew exactly who to pray for us, Brother Ernie. And when he started praying for us I felt God so strong that I fell to the ground. And the friend too. And started manifesting in the Holy Spirit- first crying, and then unending joy. I’ve never forgotten that day for many reasons but mainly it’s when I knew my pastor wasn’t aligned with the word of God. God showed me a vision of him pushing this beautiful white cloud of those double doors and locking the door. I looked at him that night, and he was not happy at all that God had taken over the service. He used to preach at ppl from that pulpit. Misquoting scriptures (I still have the old pamphlets they used to hand out with a notes section on the back, quoting the things he’d say in sermons and reading later to realize they don’t line up with scripture). He hurt many ppl. Including one man that couldn’t read and telling him he was never going to be a true Christian because he can’t even read the Bible. He wounded so many in his flock. Back then, many people would leave. My grandparents left first, my grandmother who he used to call Mom, his church mom. And before they left he preached about pruning the tree, misquoted scripture and threw a fake branch he had cut from a fake plant on the stage with him and threw the branch at their feet. Literally preaching at them. From the pulpit God has anointed him to preach the gospel. Or how about the time an 8 carat Diamond ring was given in the offering, custom designed, and it just happened to end up on Rose’s hand. Far as I know they were confronted on this and many things and instead of being above reproach like the scripture says, they get offended and hurt their flock. Or every sermon being an extension of the false prosperity gospel “money cometh unto me now!” “Dying to ourselves” every. Single. Service. For months. Back when they needed the money for that fancy building. Back when he was on TBN every Sunday and we had to make sure we were dressed in our best “for God”. Let me assure anyone that reads this: I have personally many who had been hurt at the hands of this church back then. And unless this new staff and new pastors are holding alter cal’s, preaching from the Bible, and preaching about sin, hell and repentance- then it’s just false gospel wrapped in a pretty bow. This church has a bad history in this community and I pray it’s “founders” get on their knees before the almighty God and repent before God’s wrath comes for them. I pray this church is not the same as it was. And those who attend are really being fed and not mislead. It took YEARS for some of us to ever enter a house of God again after our experiences. And I pray to God it’s not still happening.
