I have and ALWAYS thought of this as an Assembly of God church. I have the upmost respect for the Barnett's. This morning we decided to come to church after being absent from church going for years. We were happy and excited to be worshiping. That unfortunately was not the case, never have I ever experienced anything like this at this Cave Creek location. The door greeter's smiled as we approached smiling and talking to patrons ahead of us. We reached them and the smiles faded and the male greeter spoke and greeted someone from behind us and was happy they came. We walked in ordered coffee and proceeded to go sit on the second level. We came to the upper level and the same thing happened again the greeter shook hands with the family ahead of us and abruptly withdrew his hand and turned away from us, I looked at my partner and I knew he knew what just happened for a second time. We decided it was the color of our skin or that we don't belong. We stayed the whole service but I left knowing that I will probably not attend a service there again. I have thought highly of this church and even recommend it to others who asked which church to attend. I pray that I will continue to heal as I journey in my christian walk and will truly find a church who will look pass everything I am healing from. Very emotional.

Love it! When I lived in Phx i was a member when Pastor Tommy Barnett and music Pastor Dave Ritter was music director. So many friends. So many wonderful messages. I miss being part of the music department. Dream center is truly blessed. Love in Christ. Valerie Gibbs

I would have given 5 stars for the Christmas Pageant but really didn't need the Republican pulpit crammed down my throat. I am not from California but the preacher making fun of that state was insulting. I get enough of that in the secular world. Keep politics out of religion. Also the first half hour was advertising to go to their schools and join their church. I have my own, thank you.

This is really Phoenix first assembly of God but a decision was made to call it dream city. It's still Phoenix first assembly to me, always will be. Some of the pictures show deferred maintenance. I'm hoping the staff with see them and have a staff day of cleaning and repairing. The one picture in the group is Basis, a secular school. More specifically The Prayer Pavilion. Open 24/7 & nestled OnTop on Prayer Mountain, this truly anointed place is where I frequent to spend time in prayer. Thankfully we can pray anywhere but sometimes it takes being in a sanctified set apart location dedicated to the task. Lots of easy parking & always safe When their security is around, this place is among my favorite prayer spots. Renowned Pastor, Tommy Barnett, began The Prayer Pavilion after being lead by God to establish it for a place bathed in Light. A place the enemy could not comprehend.
