Dove House is a disgusting organization that supposedly "helps" women. They do not. They left my sister alone at the grocery store with no way to get home and no money to hire a taxi. She cried outside until a stranger (a possible dangerous situation ) took pity on her and drove her home. Dove House never said why the abandoned my sister and when she inquired, cut off all ties with her. For no reason. Do NOT give money to this nonprofit, they do NOT help battered women, they send them back to their abusive homes because they can only stay in the private house for a short period of time. On top of the abusive my sister was running away from, they completely abandoned her and worked her mental health. They are evil people hiding behind the guise of confidentiality. Yet another example of people doing bad things in Port Townsend.

Thankful for the help the provide to women. If you can you should call and ask what supplies they are in need of for the women. We like to have feminine products delivered to them and they are ever so great full.

Absolutely the best place for resources and help when your life seems to be falling apart... They go above and beyond by providing assistance to shelter, food, transportation vouchers (including personal rides), brand new personal hygiene products, a place to sit and think, internet access and more. These people truly went out of their way for me and I am forever grateful. Thank you Dove House!
