Sonrise Christian Center is a great church to build community and grow in Christian maturity! The Holy Spirit is doing wonderful things through Pastor John Hammer, his wife Grace, and the rest of the staff and volunteers. I've grown more here this past year than I have in ages. If you want to learn more about Jesus, His plans, and purposes for your life, visit at either 9 or 11 am Sunday morning and say hi.

I absolutely love this church and people that go and run it! I feel like home, and feel weight literally lifting as I walk in. I never feel like an outsider and I always inside feel welcome 🤗 my daughter loves Sunday school and participating with others in class. I will always call Sonrise home! Please feel free to come and join and see yourselves! I promise, you'll feel amazing. My mom who rarely goes, she participates when she visits. I love we can go and feel comfortable as a family!

Excellent Holy Spirit lead church; pastors who live out the gospel, openly share their own testimonies, growth and challenges transparently. The Word is preached well. During worship you can sense the Holy Spirit’s presence easily. We see God move significantly during prayer with freedom, healing, salvation. Depression and anxiety are crushed repeatedly in prayer at the altar. We have small groups all over the Snohomish county where we can connect and grow together. We have evangelism teams throughout the city doing different types of outreach. Bottom line: staff’s actions match the gospel. In 2021, I searched for a number of months while attending other church. I am willing to drive from outside of Everett to attend Sonrise.

Wow! I really love this church, holyspirit is so strong, you can feel the tangible eletrical current going thru your body everytimes, dan is very gifted anointing pastor, when he preach and pray, it shift atmosphere of church like you are in heaven, i am so blessed find this church.

I love this church! The family atmosphere is multigenerational and well mixed with people from all walks of life and countries. There is an awesome children's church and youth group for all ages. There are weekly community groups to join and outreaches in the community. This is a Spirit lead church that practices the gifts of the Spirit including prophecy and speaking in tongues. The worship is lively but not loud with no need for a light show and smoke. There are worship artists painting in the front. The church is not extreme in politics but tries to show you from the Bible what God has to say about the hot button issues of this time in love instead of judgement. Pastor John and His Wife Pastor Grace co-pastor They are their 40's. There are deacons and elders of various ages that help guide the church. Like any church there are no perfect people just a heart to hear God and do his will.
