I was in this Program Years ago.. complied and left due to wanting to make my marriage work, who wouldnt if you are a strong believer in God and Family; But 3years later I made a final decision to leave and when reaching out to CFH at a rough time in my life in 2016 Charlotte Family Housing denied me and my 4 children, one of them 7years of age with kidney failure, one reason it is hard for me to stay afloat but we were denied bc my son was awaiting Social Security income that we still havent received & Guess what we are still homeless as of Oct. 2018. meanwhile they have helped over 3 familes who I want name. Who lied just to recieve services. If you want to donate, donate to crisis where nomatter what decision people make in life, they will be given a second opportunity & Guarentee a place to stay as long as space allows and majority of the staff is rude and act as if you lack intelligence because you are going through a crisis in your life. - Good People Face Trails and Tribulations too and should still be treated kind and with respect. - you never know what it takes for someone to get up and put a smile on their face to make it through the day.

My family was denied because our household income was too low and an unworkable budget. You would think just from that you would receive help right?! What an irony. Never knew you had to make a certain income to be accepted into a SHELTER program. This economy is crooked and backwards.

Dispite my misfortune that led me here, From the first contact I made with Tammie Rorie, until now have been positive. She has made me feel welcome through out the entire process and I thank her. I had Alot of fears, being new to Charlotte, but her along with "Ms. T", have made me feel a little more confident in my choice to move here. Thank You...
