I am the aunt of a person who was staying in a shelter situation with Centre House. I was very impressed by the kindness, and response rate of the staff. Catie helped us and was a solid figure throughout the process. Times such as these (being homeless) for people are scary, difficult, and emotional but Catie helped ease some of those fears and she was understanding. She also made my niece feel normal and gave her a feeling of peace through a lengthy transition. This makes all the difference in a situation such as this and reflects the true humanity of others. Thank you Catie, Morgan and the entire staff at Centre House. My niece and I greatly appreciated your help.

I personally and for other people out there that need help would like to understand why this place is even allowed to even to be open. They tell you that if you were referred by somebody else that you should have been referred to someplace else. Or is it just a general state of the mindset of the people that live here in State College. They don't want anything of the sort that has anything to do with being homeless or helping somebody that is in dire need of basic needs. Grossly pathetic and inhumane are only the tip of the iceberg that comes to mind when speaking about places like this.
