After I had requested help, I once again was turned away and just given a list, no care or compassion for my situation. Received a referral to them and was even speaking with a Ms Fritz within Catholic Charities, she was kind enough to forward my details to the “correct department” however the moment she forwarded my information to them I was turned away in less than ten minutes, a email was received, I was not even asked to come in for an interview, not even a humane response - just a no. Ms Sheppard was the one behind the email, her lack of empathy and care can be read within the email, she by NO MEANS was helpful, She doesn’t care, and is clearly in the wrong position. Even if you have nothing left and no one to turn to, they won’t help you. Yet there is people who leech off of the system and get assistance. Place should be ashamed to use the word “Catholic”.

I would give this place 0 stars if that were an option. I came here to get help with my citizenship application, and my only concern is the name I have that is different. she didn't know how I should fix this problem though 🫤. They offer free services for eligible applicants. However, I set up an appointment with a staff attorney named Marga Gonzalez, and I could feel from the very first moment that she wouldn’t like to help at all. Every question she asked was followed by comments about how I might not be eligible for citizenship or how it might affect my eligibility. For example, I traveled to my country 10 years ago, and even though the citizenship application only asks about the last 5 years, according to her, I wouldn’t be eligible for citizenship. 😄 Additionally, there was a ticket I got 4 years ago, and she implied that that would also be a problem. All her job is to help me submit the application and leave everything up to the citizenship agent; they decide, not her. I chose this kind of cheap place and ultimately wasted my time. So, I advise you not to go to her for help, because you might find yourself not eligible for anything, especially if you have real problems. 😂

Trying to get a hold of this place is like pulling teeth. I promise you dont waste your time, if anything the prolong your situation applying and waiting for no response or contact back. Ive called them since July with no response. Idk how 211 keeps suggesting them when they dont help
