Joanna Prescott rated 1 4 weeks ago Asked for help for a hotel voucher for an acquaintance. Was told they don’t do hotel vouchers where I’m at.
Come across the border,
Take a bus to a different city,
You’ll be taken care of by this organization.
I guess being an American citizen doesn’t qualify a person. |

Bridget Pritchard rated 1 2 years ago If you ever have an adoption situation I would highly recommend NEVER using "Catholic" Charities ever! From day 1, we have had nothing but miscommunication and misunderstandings and now that we have a placement, suddenly after 4 different people on the phone, and three different bills, theres a $5,000 difference in adoption fees! I just can't believe these people can operate like this and expect to pay up on fees that were never previously discussed. |
John Schlicht rated 2 3 years ago After 15 years at the same workplace, I found myself unemployed at Beyer cabinets in west Salem because of personal agendas by the new owners wife and a unqualified supervisor. After months of depression, I found work and started getting back on my feet.i applied for assistance, waited for the paperwork, never received it called,I was told we are so busy I forgot to send the paperwork. My electricity was shut off on Thursday, I received the paperwork today. Contacted 5 people within and still no responsibility on their end.very disheartening for a churchgoer to swallow |
Christine Phoenix rated 1 5 years ago My experience with this charity has been demeaning and heartbreaking. I have never had to ask for a hand up before. It has been a tough year with 2 surgeries that have drained all my finances. I tried to be proactive in getting help so I would not get an eviction notice. I have spent the last 3 weeks literally begging for help from this agency and one other. I still have no answers and believe me I will not ask for help again. |
