I called ahead of time to make sure our appointment was set and that we were confirmed to be on the visitors so that my family wouldn't waste 3 hours to drive all the way there. Once my family arrived, they said we were on the visitors list, but it has not gotten approved. My family submitted the form over 2 months ago, how long does it take for it to get approved and why didn't the employee tell me over the phone that my family visitation form has yet to be approved?
I called to confirm nothing was going to stop us from visiting and they said we all good to go, just to turn us away as soon as we got there. Thanks for making us waste a 3 hour drive for nothing. Customer service here is below the standard.

Two months ago, I got approved to visit a friend in this Institution for prison ministries with my pastor and a friend. We had visited her a few times so far, and we're looking forward to seeing her there for the next six months. God works in mysterious ways. He's always good every time. Thanks again.
